One role I considered while exploring this space was as an International Sales Representative for a New Zealand Timber exporter to the Pacific. A large part of the role’s focus was maintaining relationships with clients throughout the Pacific Islands, and travelling in market to do so.
Multinational organisations, Nestle, for example, have account executive and international partnership roles that require high degrees of cultural competence and a willingness to travel.
